You are standing in front of what Eddie Sotto considers one of the most accomplished experiences on Main Street, U.S.A. More than a façade, this place was designed as a lived moment, a true step back in time.

The shop as it looked in 1992, note the change in wallpaper on the wall
The exterior is a faithful replica of the Harmony Barber Shop at the Magic Kingdom in Florida.

Unlike its American counterpart, now gone, the windows featured gold leaf lettering. This glass gilding technique, used to give a business a more prestigious look, also serves as a personal tribute to Eddie Sotto’s grandfather, who was a gold leaf sign painter.

Inside, the décor evokes an early twentieth century barber shop. The teams relied on photographs, barber catalogs, and period objects to recreate a credible atmosphere. For this project, Eddie Sotto completed training in set design focused on interior design. He planned the layout so that every element would be fully functional, like a real barber shop of the time.
The barber chairs are genuine antiques from 1891 by Theo A. Koch, restored.
This place reminds us that Main Street, U.S.A. is not just a backdrop, but also a setting for lived experiences.
